Question: Doctor's exam for guys.........?

I got my full body physical exam today. After all the regular lung / heart checkups my doctor asked me to pull down my pants and he then examined / touched my penis and balls. I know this is standard procedure but was wondering why... I'm only 18, it's not like I will be having sex disease anytime soon, so confused... also it feels weird when another guy touching your penis / balls... Do all guys feel the same way or is it just me??

yes this is an uncomfortable but necessary experience, once you turn 18 doctors check for signs of sexually transmitted infections because if your sexually active there is always the posiblility for getting them.

Get over it. He was just checking to make sure you don't have a hernia.

Wait until you get older & he checks your prostate - than means he will stick his gloved finger up your butt & probe around to make sure your prostate is not swollen. Fun - fun - fun.

He was checking for a hernia and any lumps on your testicles. It felt weird for me.

I always hated that, especially when they ask you to cough.
