Does zinc increase levels of testosterone?!

Question: Does zinc increase levels of testosterone?
And what would increase levels of testosterone do (on a guy)?

Answers:

I don't know if zinc increased testosterone, per se, but it is an important factor in one's libido. I do think that taking Tribulus terrestris helps to increase testosterone in a way that increases libido, but not to an extent that would do damage.

In short, no.
People claim all the time that there are these types of remidies that magically increase T levels. It doesn't work like that.
NOW, if you are an unhealthy individual, that is going to interfere with your T production. So making sure you eat healthy, excercise, don't drink, don't smoke, don't do drugs etc will make sure your body is producing T at it's optimal level. Taking zinc ontop of that isn't going to change anything.

What T level increases do to a man depends on how high the levels were raised. Raising a T level any more than normal will cause harmful side effects that are the same as the side effects and health problems of taking steroids. That's why raising T levels needs to be done through a doctor. But zinc isn't going to do that. In order to get your T levels up you need to actually get hormone treatments.

They say it does and btw if u feel ur getting a cold, take zinc.. It will reduce the cold by a few days. At least that's what I saw on tv. I don't have an answer to the 2nd part of ur question since I've never tried zinc

There's no need to worry about being perfect anymore. It turns out that no one is at www.perfectlynot.com
