I'm a teenager and I think my sex drive is lowering?!

Question: I'm a teenager and I think my sex drive is lowering?
Hey.
Well, I'll be 16 in September and lately I have found myself less interested in sex. (I'm a virgin) I have even cut down my masturbating. I used to do it a few times a day, now I do it maybe once every 3 days. I still find girls attractive and want to have sex etc, just lately I am not as interested.

If it's any constellation, I am still getting over my ex, who is now dating my best friend (she left me 5 months ago for him) Could this have something to do with it? As lately, I have been depressed a lot more and even been diagnosed with depression.

Is this normal... Please help?

Answers:

Well, you shouldn't be having sex at 15 buddy! Not a good idea.

Secondly, I was in your situation when I was your age, it's just your body going through a stage of the "Mehs" or "Extreme un-enthusiasm"
Don't worry, it's actually good for you. Masturbating is normal, however masturbation more than once a day can be harmful.

Also, depression has been known to make people less interested in lots of things, including masturbation. But don't worry, it's normal. You'll be back to your old self in no time my man, have no fear. :D

you shouldnt have sex at 15 first of all.... and i think your stressed about the break up. when you get tressed or depressed your sex drive does lower, so dont worry about it and find someone else thats better.... and yes it is normal to have a lower sex drive if your depressed.

hope i helped.
and ps. dont worry about women untill your older.

You just answered your own question.
Anxiety, stress, depression, fatigue, crappy diet, lack of exercise & some medications can cause malfunction at the junction.
Make some changes.

Find another girlfriend.

Yeah = depression does this to you
though you will slow down a bit as you go into later teens.

So yes, it's certainly understandable.
