Question: Is it harmful to swallow gum?
I love gum but within 2 minutes of chewing it, I swallow it. Is this ( in a physical sense ) bad?

It is bad because it doesn't digest properly so when you poop or fart, it bubbles. VERY EMBARRASSING BELIEVE ME

It stays in your stomach for 7 years! Well, maybe not 7 but at least until your stomach acids dissolve it. I don't know what would happen if you eat a pound of gum but I would think it's not good. A few pieces a day isn't bad.
NO! But I wouldn't make a practice of it.
