Why am I going bald at such a young age?!
Question: Why am I going bald at such a young age?
Answers:
It depends. Are your uncles (your mother's brothers) bald? Did their hair recede early?
Are you a hairy guy (chest/arms/legs) because sometimes the very hormone that causes guys to get very hairy on their body makes their head hair disappear! Go figure. The guys who many of us were jealous about in high school for having lots of body hair went bald a few years years later. Too funny!
ADDITIONAL: I saw you responded to my post so I thought I would add some more.
It's usually all about genetics. We tend to be pre-programmed as far as things like head hair....color, thickness, straight or curly, etc. But the things we eat can make a difference I believe. Guys who are real "meat and potato" types can be affected the most. Many animals are given GROWTH HORMONES. This HAS to get into the food chain. So we are consuming it. I would visit an endocrinologist for testing if you are very concerned. Otherwise, if there are no obvious issues, you'll eventually just have to accept that you are losing some hair. It's not really that big a deal...except to you, of course and I do appreciate how it must make you feel It's important to YOU. Of course. Try not to get too caught up in it because at the end of the day you may just have to accept it. Best wishes to you. PS Had a cousin who started to go bald at 18. Sure enough his mom's brothers all started to bald right around that time. Purely genetics in his case.
It's genetics, hair loss happens to a lot of men! It can be due to stress, I don't know any other way of gainning it back without taking some possible medication to grow it back.
A lot of men suffer from this problem, either accept it and shave it off or buy a tupea or use some kind of medication like propecia or have a parents concent with getting a hair transplant.
its probably stress and you would have to talk to a doctor if you want to know a definite answer but i don't believe in hair regrowth(it may be possible though)
