my friend said something about taking human growth hormone, or some type of it. !

Question: My friend said something about taking human growth hormone, or some type of it. Says its really beneficial...?
We both lift, well he does more cardio bc hes in the army but I lift and do cardio... but i think he said one of his mates in the army told him about how amazing HGH is, and he says it increases muscle growth practically exponentially, brain function, makes you more sexually driven, gives you more energy, and pretty much everything else beneficial for your body. I don't want to take steroids or anything, but is this something natural or advisable? as long as there are no side effects i am very interested.

Answers:

I think you might be talking about HGH releasers?

DON'T DO IT!

Like anabolic steroids, they completely screw up your hormone profile.

Did you know that when people take steroids, their testicles shrink in size, because they don't have to produce testosterone anymore.
There's a complex system in your body called bio-feedback. If you mess with it, it will bite you and cause severe irreversible side-effects!
Only take hgh if your have a proven deficiency of it 1

There is an ongoing debate about HGH. Because it showed up the scene relatively recently compared to steroids, I don't think that anybody has taken it long enough to see if its truly safe or dangerous. You should check out scholar.google.com and Pubmed to see if you can find any real research on it.

any hormonal drugs are as a thumb role not advisable to take cause they can screw up your normal hormonal system unless they are replacement if you have a hypofunction
