Question: Guys does having sex with a girl have anything to do with infatuation?

Let's say, you got together with a girl not cause you liked anything about her. But it's cause you took pity on her cause of her troubled family, took care of her and mistook those feelings of pity for liking HER as a person. You had low self esteem too. That, and at the beginning you didn't really knew her yet, not seen the really terrible side of her. Cause of those mistaken feelings, you felt like you were "infatuated" or "head over heels in like with her".

This all happened at the very beginning, then she approached you for sex. You couldnt control yourself and went ahead though you were in no way attracted to her (she was fat and unattractive). After awhile, you dont know why you even did it with her and felt really regretful about it, cause you only vowed to do it with your wife. The rlshp became gradually unhealthy, her personality became worse, she cheated on you (and slept with) another guy in the end. and dumped you.

Why would you have sex with her then? Is it cause you were "infatuated" and "blinded", you thought you "liked" her? or was it just plain lust and having someone available made it easy?

Infatuation, lust, love, they have all different meanings but they don't matter much with anything you do when your manhood is challenged, roused, and fully awaked.
The mere physical act of that sex had just left you felt guilty afterwards which then define your final thoughts of her to question yourself, just what you feel right now if it's lust, love, infatuation or just pity at all.

Well you have answered your own question. If the guy wasn't infatuated with her, then he just had sex with her for sex not because he liked her.

Maybe it's because you just find it too difficult to say no to sex , whether it be with somebody attractive or not .
