im about to 18 years old in two weeks. is it possible for me to have growth spurt before if im im four inches shorter than my dad because he is 6 ft and im only 5'8? is there a chance i could hit my growth spurt in the process of me turning 18 (because i dont remember hitting a growth spurt before).

There could be a chance. Anyways 5 foot 8 is not short. I'm 5'8, 16 years old male, if I grow more or if I don't its still a good height. Some men don't stop growing till their 20's so theres a big chance of you being 6ft.
It's POSSIBLE that you could grow until you're about 24. BUT, you're probably at about the height you will be. Just embrace it
