Should I have had a nocturnal emission aka wet dream by now?!

Question: Should I have had a nocturnal emission aka wet dream by now?
For spiritual reasons I have given up both sex and masturbation since 26 December 2010 and to this date I haven't had a single nocturnal emission yet.
I had given up both already before for 8 months and after the 1st month had passed I began having nocturnal emissions even tho I didn't have any sex dreams to accompany it. I knew this was my body's way of getting rid of the excess semen building up in me given that the male body is always producing semen.
I hated wet dreams but I knew they served a purpose during that 8 month period so they didn't bother me at all seeing I'd rather be physically OK and have them than not have them and become physically ill.
I am starting to worry as I heard there are negative health issues if semen builds up too much in a man's genitalia without being released.
Also I have given up anything that can sexually stimulate my mind like porn.

Do I have anything to worry about?

Serious answers please. I am not in the mood for trolls right now.
Thanks for any helpful answers :)

Answers:

Trying to be celibate in the manner you describe is not the right way to go about it. In fact, it goes against the laws of Nature. Suppression and/or repression can lead to difficulties further down the track. Witness priest abuse cases the world over.

IF it was somehow spiritual, your body wouldn't be seeking to release via wet dreams, the first time around.

Remember, that what you resist, persists, intensifies. Worrying about sexual health is a great way to come down with some illness.

Masturbation should be a normal part of every man's life and it has been scientifically proven, time and time again, that it is unhealthy for you to not regularly engage in it. Believe what you'd like, but I'm sure that if "God didn't want men to do it", he wouldn't have made it more likely for men who avoid sexual stimulation to get prostate cancer.

Hello Dark Phoenix
I have very carefully read you question and don't understand what your problem is. i am of course assuming you don't masturbate & rely on wet dreams to get rid of your excess semen. This should happen.
I don't know your age, but would suggest this site which may be helpful for you. http://www.puberty101.com

It's medically unhealthy not to get rid of excess semen by either masturbating or wet dreams, and if your body isn't getting rid of it naturally then something is wrong, and it may be time to do it yourself. Sorry.

I have never had a nocturnal emission, don't worry.

no not necessarily. i know guys that have never had a wet dream an they are just as healthy as the next guy

i never had one, dont worry about it dude. good luck with the no jack'n
