can a woodstove make me dizzy?!
Question: Can a woodstove make me dizzy?
hi, im wondering if a woodstove could make me dizzy. i slept over my friends house 2 nights and he had the thing blazing and it was about 100 degrees. also, i didnt get much sleep cuz the first night we went to bed at 3 am and the second at 2 am. i also started to develop a headache and i came home and went to bed. now i feel spaced out and dizzy. this happened to me the last time but milder.
Answers:
A wood burning stove can dry out the humidity in the air. That's why most people put a pot of water on top of the stove so it can evaporate & put humidity back into the air. If there's not enough humidity, your nasal passages & throat gets dry and/or scratchy & it's harder to get your breath.
if not vented right, it could be carbon monoxide.
i'm thinkin' no,,, unless you drop the thing on your head...
