Question: Plz help me. No one has answered this?
Im 14 years old and i wanna lose weight. Im 5 foot 5 and weigh 140 pounds.(im barely going through puberty). I can run about 2 miles without stopping. If i run 1 mile everyday will it help me lose weight? If i only drink water from now on will that help me too? How long do you think it will take for me to lose at least 20 pounds? more/less. Please give advice

ok, whoever the person that said "DO NOT JUST DRINK WATER! it can kill you" is ddead wrong
my grandma was 500 lb. and ate othing but weaties and drank nothing but water and lost 370 lb. in about 2 years. so drinking nothing but water DOES HELP!
but don't go on to big of a diet (like a <100 cal. diet) THAT is what can kill you!!
as long as you exersize, you will get thin
(by the way, i'm 14 and 160 lb., but mines all muscle, so being heavy isn't all bad, alot of times it's good! :)



i don't know how you can lose weight but my mother and cousin both lost weight by running. my cousin is in track and weighed a lot but after at least 1-2 years he now he has abs and everything. my mom runs a mile or 2 EVERY day and she lost at least i think 10 pounds in 2 weeks. she also exersises a little bit afterward. she drinks at least a cup of hot water every day too. :)

20 pounds ;) you can lose 20 pounds in 1 day you just cant feel like you cant lose weight if you jog for 1 hour every like 3 hours all you have to do is stop eating fatty foods and stary eating vegtables apples bannas grapes what ever and dont eat nothing else you have to try start eating what i told you for 1 week or 2 weeks and jog for an hour every day take water with you dont stop running and 1 or 2 weeks you will lose tons of weight bro



Running a mile every day will deffinetly help. DO NOT JUST DRINK WATER. That is very, very bad for your body. It can kill you. Just think about what carbohydrates you're eating and cut off the snacks. Good luck!



just burn more carbs than you take in so when your eating look at how many carbs are in it then look up how much carbs you burn when doing a mile jog and as long as you burn more than you eat you lose weight



WOW. Your worried about your weight. I'm also 14 and I weigh 200 pounds. Get over it.
