What is wrong with this? Was I circumcised correctly?!

Question: What is wrong with this? Was I circumcised correctly?
Please be professional about this, I am not trying to freak people out as I believe that there is in fact something wrong this my penis.

I am not sure if I am circumsized correctly and would like to know the term for whatever i have. There is a piece of skin connecting the head of my penis to the shaft that is unnecesarily there. It hasnt cause any problems, i am still able to have sex and masturbate but for personal reason i would like to have it fixed.

This will be a link to a picture of the unnecesary skin, please do not click on it unless you might actually know what you are talking about or haev professional suggestions.

I was hoping that i could just jut it off but i would like to know where to go to do that.

Answers:

This is called skin tags and skin bridges. Your circumcision didn't heal properly. Many circumcised men have them. You can get them corrected. But you can never restore the lost sensitivity caused by circumcision.

However, none of your foreskin is "unnecessary skin." It's all vital to your penile function and health.

Skin bridge. You can learn more about the problem at the link below. Have a great day!

Nice looking penis BTW.... wnayways, you might consider seeing your family physician to get professional advice. Look me up if you wish to know more. Thanks and have a great day

I would think about suing your parents for mutilating you at birth!

It's a skin bridge. It doesn't come from a botched circumcision, it comes from improper care of the circumcision wound. So your parents are to blame for this (which is why if it was me I would be sending them the medical bill).

It's easily fixed by a urologist or plastic surgeon but since it is cosmetic insurance will most likely not cover it.

Also have you had a dermatologist look at the dark spots on your penis? You should. I would have those removed right away as I would want to iliminate any possible chance of penile cancer. Moles can turn cancerous. I would just have them looked at to make sure they aren't harmful.

That is a skin bridge, caused when the wound healed back to the glans of the penis. Its harmless and doesn't get in the way in most cases, including yours. It can be corrected, but it may result in a slight loss of sensitivity, and there will be a scar on your glans and shaft. If you want it gone, its likely not going to be a surgery covered by your insurance as it's cosmetic. I know a friend of mine uses it like a piercing with a ring through it, and its gotten positive feedback according to him. Here's an example: (NSFW) http://spoofty.com/Pierce/PierceImages/2…

Side note, however... if you don't want your yahoo! account frozen or deleted, you will want to change the settings on that photo in flickr as restricted.
