is it even possible to start losing your hair at 16?!

Question: Is it even possible to start losing your hair at 16?
I'm 16 and as of this summer my hairline has started to recede, it was pretty obvious i was shedding more hair than normal for quite some time, but then it just stopped, my hairline is slightly receded and my hair is not nearly as healthy as it was before this started, is this natural? Is there some other reason for it? Or am i just losing my hair? And is this why my hair isnt as healthy as it was?

It really sucks cuz im a good-lookin guy with blonde hair and blue eyes, and i dont think people will treat me the same if i lose my hair. Which sucks it says a lot about people but still, i really hope im not losing my hair. i am extremely stressed out because i have health issues but my mom wont pick up my medication so i also wonder if thats related.

Answers:

Well, it certainly can happen at your age; I know a guy who is 15 and has obviously receded along the sides of his forehead. And genetically natural blonde guys are more prone to hair loss and hair thinning, just a genetic trait. I had a friend who was very receded by 19 and by 24 was basically bald. Most likely you got the thin hair gene, your brother didn't. My dad had very thick hair when he died at 74, his brother was nearly bald at 45.

yeah that would suck but listen bro..it's all in ur family genes...i mean it could miss ur dad but maybe ur grandfather had the receding hair line. Go to a hair specialist and see whats going on. Maybe it's just that u need to take more vitamins. I have a friend that's like almost bald and he's only 18 so get ur azz going.
