Is it safe to use maple syrup as lube on my condom?!

Question: Is it safe to use maple syrup as lube on my condom?
Well I bought a bunch of condoms and it seems they aren't lubed at all.

And really the only thing I can really find around the house that could make a good lube is this syrup, are there any harmful effects to this?

Answers:

don't be cheap and go to the drug store and spend $5 on ky.

At least you didn't ask about using shoe polish.

The stickiness may tear the condom, as others said. Also, there is a chance of bacteria in the syrup which could lead to a vaginal infection, and the sugar in the syrup acts as a food source for the bacteria of a yeast infection. However, those two risks aren't present in terms of anal intercourse, but tearing the condom is still a concern. Don't use vaseline or mineral oil because those lubricants degrade the latex in a condom, unless you're using a non-latex condom. Still, those products do carry some risks with vaginal intercourse. Just go buy some store brand KY; you might even find some at the dollar store. If all else fails, saliva is a fairly safe lubricant.

Maple syrup as a lube would be bad for the receiving partner (girl or guy). It is high in sugar and can cause serious infections inside the body.
Better that you should use something not so sugary.

Hope this helped...

personal research

Hahah , that would give her some bad infections. I wouldnt do that . I would suggest you go bye lubed condoms, or lubee !

dont use anything unless it is birth control related!! REPEAT! then the condom will get stiff from syrup and tear...and i think you know what happens next

you win the prize. what the prize is I haven't figured out. Use soap.
