18 year old male, have small floaters from time to time?!
Question: 18 year old male, have small floaters from time to time?
(I have had an eye exam roughly 2 months ago to get fitted with some new driving glasses, and she took a photograph of my eye and she didn't detect anything)
Answers:
Floaters are detached pieces of retina. Your eye physician may not have seen them, but they do exist. Some people have large pieces, others have small 'pinhole' types (like mine). They will slowly dissolve. If your doctor feels necessary, eyedrops may be used, but most often not. Do not stare off into the sun; sit back a bit from the computer screen, look at the type of overhead light where you sit. Consider turning on a lamp behind you instead of overhead.
Just keep checking your eyes during the annual eye exams. But in general don't worry but you do have rest your eyes when work on the computer for shorts period's of time Looking at the computer screen allot can cause eye strain and weakness.
Wear Dark sun glass's in the sun is best for the eyes too
Floaters are perfectly normal, as long as your not seeing hundreds of them at once, as that can be a sign of a torn retina.
ARE YOU DUMB? EVERYONE GETS THOSE.
