Can someone tell me how to seriously work-out?!

Question: Can someone tell me how to seriously work-out?
The last time I asked that on here, the guy did not give a clear answer to the question I asked. SO, I am a real skinny guy, i work out every other day (to give my muscles a day to rest) i do dips, curls, pull ups, push ups, and a shoulder workout, not sure what its called. BUT how do i gain mass while also being strong? is what i am doing now ok? i do all those workouts with a certain number of reps, and i do the reps in sets. i keep doing sets until i i am too tired to complete them, then i stop for the day. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME A REAL ANSWER TO THESE QUESTIONS, like how long should i workout when i do? and how do i gain mass but also strength? and will working out everyday hurt my muscles? WHAT DO I DO, to be a good, strong boxer (for when i box my friends) and what do i do to get appearance? (more mass! bigger looking!) i drink a lot of weigh protein if i really workout hard enough, if that helps

Answers:

It's okay to work out every day provided you are not working out the same muscle group two days in a row.

What you do in a work out routine depends on a number of factors, very few of which you provided in the question.

A typical gym workout will take for 30 minutes to 2 hours a day. It depends on your specific goals, level of experience, point in your long-term routine, etc.)

The two biggest mistakes guys make when they start working out is to lift for mass or strength and taking supplements like whey protein and creatine. The first 3 months you start working out need to be focused on building up endurance. You don't need whey protein for this. You need sustained motivation. It's that sustained motivation early on that many people lack and there is no substitute for it.

If you're looking for a workout routine for your first month in the gym, you're welcome to e-mail me and I'll get you started.

you are on the right track, but to gain mass you have use weights, what you are doing is just toning the muscle

Ya well everyday is probably too much. Half of gaining muscle is building it right so you need to give your body time to recover and rebuild the muscles that you ripped stronger. So I would probably say a real good workout 2-3 times per week is good. Also just eating a lot will help you gain weight. Carbs will put on a lot of weight but will also make you fat if they don't match your workout plan. I would look into the Crossfit workout. Just search it on google. It is a pretty hard core workout. Basically you just work out super hard in a lot of dynamic ways until you either can't go no more or you throw up lol. I tried it once for a bit. It worked good but I was always a little uncertain if it was too hard of a workout. I am pretty busy now but I generally just do regular weight lifting with jogging. I just go pretty hard usually with 2 workouts doing 5 sets of 5. I try to get to all major parts of my body each week in about 2 workouts. But I am really busy so that is why i do that. I am skeptical of just doing pushups and dips and stuff. I think actually doing weights is what really builds muscle.
