Problem concerning my boyfriend's member?!

Question: Problem concerning my boyfriend's member?
My boyfriend is really getting himself down about his penis. He has a tight foreskin and it really hurts him to retract it back- it's supersensitive. I had a look on the Internet about tips about gently pulling it back when in the shower etc to 'loosen it up'. I told him and showed him what I found out and he seemed OK with it, but I'm not totally sure if he will actually give it a go. It's really messing with his confidence, especially in the bedroom, and we have a hard time having fun together :( He's also convinced he needs to see a specialist and have some sort of operation (he's rather health concious :/ )
Is it common to have a tight foreskin? And how should he go about reducing the pain of it? I'm not so clued up on male anatomy, and it annoys me that I can't put his mind at ease, I really want to make him feel good about himself, but I feel as if I'm a failing girlfriend :(

You are an AMAZING girlfriend. Based on your concern, if I were him, I wouldn't leave you for you not being able to solve this problem. One thing he can do is, while flaccid, slip his pointer fingers between his foreskin and "head." Then, GENTLY try to stretch the foreskin outwards. Do this in increments of 5-20 seconds. DO NOT PULL TOO HARD! Do this about 10 minutes apart. You should be able to do this every day. Good luck with your problem! Tell him (If you are in your teens) that this is natural because his penis is growing!

Circumcision. Best thing he could ever do for himself.

Sorry to be obvious, but common sense often is: get him to see his doctor!

Your primary question is a statement not a question
so let me deal with your secondary question

It is not uncommon for teen guys to have a tight foreskin.

How does he go about reducing pain = by not forcing it back.
Usually the foreskin loosens by itself with use, once penis stops growing.

It is not necessary to pull foreskin "right back" to have sex
and provided he has some mobility that's all he needs.
It will tend to go back further as he gets older, but don't copy porn-stars.

He can roll condom down over foreskin (adjust for comfort).
Use lube and take it gently.

Circumcision is totally unnecessary.

doing it a warm bath is100% better and he can get cream off his doctor too help him it won't happen over night may take several weeks but the more he try the easier it will become also tell him too slide it forward up over two fingers and pull them apart as the front is what needs the most stretching if he is not making any improvement then he can get his doctor too put a tiny slit in it he has too be the one welling too try the exercising nothing wrong with you at all just tell him i'm uncut myself also one other little hint when he has it back as far as he can dry put baby oil on it before he pulls the skin back up so it will have lube there the next time he try this is the parents fault for not following through and telling the boy what they need too start doing at seven years old
