Phimosis related question.?!

Question: Phimosis related question.?
I think I have a mild case of phimosis, but I'm wondering if I'll have to get treatment.

When my penis is not erect, I can easily pull back the foreskin.
When my penis is erect I can, with some effort, pull back the foreskin but the foreskin will never retract out of itself. You have to know that when I pull back the foreskin, my glanse turns a bit dark pink after a while but never hurts.

What I'm wondering is that maybe I don't have phimosis but rather a way too long foreskin. Please help me out and please refrain from laughing at me.

(Sorry for my sucky English, it's not my native language.)

Hey there,

While reading the beginning, the first thing that entered my mind was that your foreskin was just long/more skin. Then at the end, you said that same thing.

I believe this is what it is, because you have no pain/soreness, etc. The pink/brown coloring is also normal. All in all, you just have an extra long foreskin.

Take care!

N.B. Your English was perfectly fine!

There is nothing wrong with you. You do not have Phimosis in any way. True clinical Phimosis is when the foreskin is so tight you cannot retract enough to see the urethral opening.
You have a naturally tight foreskin, just like every other intact (not circumcised) man on the planet had at your age. Over 85% of the males on earth are intact so you are on the winning side. The other 15% wish they still were intact.
I have posted some links to some foreskin stretches you can do in the privacy of the daily shower. Let the warm water loosen and relax the skin before stretching. Stretches are to be firm, but gentle, with no pain. Pain is a damage indicator. Over stretching till it hurts can create micro tears in the skin opening that will heal over with non elastic scar tissue,...making retraction more difficult.
No pain,....ever!
By the progress you have already described,....just a bit more stretching to loosen it up a bit and you will be fine.
As for the length thing,....you are lucky!! Some guys have short foreskins that retract when erect, some guys have longer more prominent foreskins that can be manually retracted when erect, and the rest of the intact guys are somewhere in between. All are normal.
Go to: www.norm.org and read about the reason and function of the foreskin. You will see how very fortunate you are to still have yours and how misguided are those who promote circumcisions for any reason.
Good luck with this.
