I need Viagra advice from people who use it?!

Question: I need Viagra advice from people who use it?
I'm 27 years old. Not sure what's going on with me, but my new girlfriend and I made love for the first time 2 nights ago and it was embarrassing. I don't know why I was having trouble getting and maintaining a full erection. I'm normally "solid" in that area, but for some reason, it wasn't on it's A-game that night, and with the most beautiful woman in the world. Granted, I drank wine without eating, I was a bit tired, we were on an air mattress, and I was super nervous. But obvious reason's aside, I've had this problem before. Not often, but more than once.

Now, my new bed has arrived from Ikea, I'm back on my work out schedule, and I am expecting my order of Viagra to arrive any minute. She likes me enough to give me a second chance, so I CAN NOT mess this up. I need some advice from Viagra users on the best way to about showing my affection to this woman without any error.

I know I'm supposed to take it 30 minutes before THE sex. I know I'm supposed to contact a doctor if I have an erection for longer than 4 hours (that would be nice). But is there anything else I should know? I want to make this night perfect and not have anymore mishaps. Thank you in advance and I appreciate any input you can give me.

Answers:

When you start kissing, and are going to get down to business, pop the pill.... then have LOTS of foreplay, and go down on her for a while

then you'll get it up

also, be open with her... tell her your erection works fine, but you want to please her so much, that the pressure kept you from being able to relax

by the way your problem is sexual performance anxiety, not erectile dysfunction

I don't know about the Viagra, but you might look for a product called "Calms Forte" at health food stores. It is a natural calming agent, like a tranquilizer. It sounds like you are agonizing about this and even the Viagra might not help if you remain so nervous about it.

P.S> Follow the instructions, don't over do-you don't want to fall asleep!

CD,
Sounds like you are freaking out over what would have been a natural failure anyway. Alcohol, no food, tired, and stressed?!?! These are all bone killers, but combined they are certain death. If you are back on track with everything, and you can relax about this, you probably don't need the meds.
If you insist on "assisting the evening", take some advice. The working time for the dose is about 1 1/2 to 3 hours total. This can cause you to panick and push your evening agenda! That could spell disaster by itself.
Force yourself to relax about the whole evening. Trust that your body will work if she turns you on. Spend plenty of time on foreplay, and when the time is right, go for it. Viagra is an amplifier that enhances your bodies normal response. If you are not turned on, nothing will happen. If stress and freaking out blocks this, it won't work.
If this turns out to be a longer term problem or it gets worse, then it is time to talk to your doctor and get your thyroid, and all androgenic markers checked.
Good luck with the next "event".
