This question is asked like 100 times a day. The answer is it depends. Ejaculation releases "womanly" hormones like prolactin and oxytocin into the male body. This is why you feel relaxed and want to cuddle and go to sleep after sex. The problem is that these hormones work against your testosterone, which gives you that aggressiveness and energy that's so important for sports and working out. If you cut back on masturbation, you will most likely find that you're more confident, motivated, energetic, etc.-- all those things that testosterone gives you (assuming that you're a healthy male to begin with).
