That IS my own experience! If I am with a gal who hasn't had sex yet, I take my time. Warm her up to it as it were, make sure she is receptive. If she is horny, she will become wet with vaginal juices and it will be much easier for her to accept penetration. Once in, I take it slow to make sure she isn't in any discomfort that she can not tolerate.
