Is it safe to re-use a condom if you don't *** in it the first time?!

Question: Is it safe to re-use a condom if you don't *** in it the first time?
This is going to sound strange, but bare with me.

I am with my girlfriend and we were doing some things. I put on a condom and we continued. The phone rang and it distracted us. I lost excitement and was unable to ejaculate after that. Is it safe to re-use it after about 2 hours? We just got done watching a movie and were hoping to try again. Unfortunately, I do not have any other condoms with me at the moment. I apologize if this is a stupid question.

TIA.

Answers:

NO. Throw it out right now! Because of the fragile material condoms are made of, using it not directly after opening the package might increase the risk if it ripping.
Also, there just might be a chance of transferring STIs and bacteria that were unintended.

It doesn't hurt to get a now one, right? It's worth the money to have the best protection. :)
Have fun! ;D

Well if there are STD's involved, no never ever reuse a condom, they could spread. Even if there isn't any STD's in the picture, I wouldn't reuse a condom. Even if you don't have anymore the condom could have possibly broken from the time being and what not. I would say it's not that safe to reuse it. Hope this helps :)

"Safe" is relative.

The lube has dried out, the spermicide components MAY have evaporated, the latex should be alright but night not be.

Don't be cheap - go get another condom, or switch to oral or manual.

no it will have weakened,so could break, the spermicide would have worn off, and there could be stis/stds, and certainly bacteria on it.

common sense

would be better to use a new one. perhaps pre stuff could be there and from the use of it already..
don't apologize, not a stupid question at all, that's a great question! :)

err...I'd just got buy more.

Better safe than sorry c;

It's better to just 'call it a night.'
Otherwise - proceed at your own risk.

No.

No, I wouldn't risk it either

i wouldnt do it.
