I have been paying my sitter $100 a week for the past 2 months. i work part time 16 hrs a week. I feel like Im being overcharged. I wont be bringing him to her tomorrow and she knows that. He will be with his grandparents have been since Friday. She will see him Wednesday. I have the option on Fridays to bring him to her early. (8-7) Thats included in the 16 hours. Still not worth it. she wants $100 on wed even tho hes not coming tomorrow. My husband will be home from deployment on wed. Im really trying to figure out which route to go. she only supplies the love and care, i provide everything else. Now you tell me whats wrong with this situation no criticism please.

$100 for 16 hours of work is less than the current minimum wage. I don't think she's overcharging you.
You're paying just over $6 an hour - I think that is reasonable, especially if she is a wonderful sitter.
Is that 16 hours a week worth paying a sitter? Depending on what *you're* getting paid, it may not even be worth working by the time you pay for a sitter, gas, work clothes, etc.
