Question: What did jesus do in his free time?

Answers:

Nothing. I heard he liked tricking people.

Ah, an interesting question... He preached , most certainly.
Muslims respect and revere Prophet Jesus (Peace be upon him), and await his Second Coming. They consider him one of the greatest of God’s messengers to mankind. A Muslim never refers to him simply as ‘Jesus’, but always adds the phrase ‘upon him be peace’. The Quran confirms his virgin birth (an entire chapter in the Quran is entitled ‘Mary’), and Mary is considered the purest woman in all creation. The Quran describes the Annunciation as follows:
“‘Behold!’ the Angel said, ‘O, Mary, indeed God has chosen you, and purified you, and chosen you above the women of the worlds. O Mary, God gives you good news of a word from Him, whose name shall be the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, honored in this world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near to God. He shall speak to the people from his cradle and in maturity, and shall be of the righteous.’ She said: ‘O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me?’ He said: ‘Even so; God creates what He will. When He decrees a thing, He says to it, ‘Be!’ and it is.’”(The Final Testament, i.e. Quran, 3:42-47)
Jesus was born miraculously through the same power which had brought Adam into being without a father: ‘Truly, the likeness of Jesus with God is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, and then said to him, ‘Be!’ and he was. (The Glorious Quran, 3:49)
God is not Jesus. Even Jesus himself rejects this. God said in the Quran:
‘Indeed, they have disbelieved who have said, “God is the Messiah (Jesus), son of Mary.” The Messiah (Jesus) said, “Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord. Whoever associates partners in worship with God, then God has forbidden Paradise for him”(The Noble Quran-5:72)
About the coming of the last prophet Muhammad, The Holy Quran states in 61:6 that Jesus explicitly mentioned the name Ahmad: “And (remember) when Jesus Son of Mary said: ‘O, children of Israel! I am the Apostle of Allah(sent ) to you confirming the Torah (which came) before me, and give glad tidings of an Apostle to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad(i.e. the second name of Prophet Muhammad, and literally it means the one who praises Allah more than others).”
Jesus had mentioned in John 16:14 that “He shall glorify me”.
1. “He shall glorify me” (John 16:14). Actually the Holy Quran and Prophet Muhammad[Peace be upon him] have more reverence for Jesus[Peace be upon Him] than the Bible and Christians themselves. The following will clarify:
a. To believe in his death on the cross discredits his prophet hood according to Deuteronomy 13:5: “And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death…” It also stamps him as accursed (May God forbid!) according to Deuteronomy 21:22-23: “…for he that is hanged is accursed of God…”
b. Matthew 27:46: “…My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” Could this not come from someone other than Jesus? Even a Non-Prophet would smile at agony as he knew that his death would win him a title of martyr. Was this not an insult to Jesus in not having faith in God?
c. Muslims cannot believe that Jesus could label the Gentiles as dogs and swine and address his mother with Woman, as the Holy Quran states in Surah 19:32: “And dutiful to my Mother[i.e. Mary], and (Allah) made me not an unblessed and arrogant.” Matthew 7:6: “Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine…” John 2:4: “Jesus saith unto her(Mary), Woman , what have I to do with thee?”

Was Jesus Crucified?

Muslims say that Jesus was not crucified because in the Quran , it says in Chapter 4:157 that Jesus wasn’t crucified: “And their(Jews) boasting: ‘We killed Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, the Apostle of Allah,’ but they(Jews) killed him not , nor crucified him…and they did not kill him,for certain- rather God raised him to Himself.”. This is in accordance with what Jesus said (Matthew 10:24): “The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.”
Suffering is often exaggerated in the Bible and termed “dead” as Paul said (I Corinthians 15:31): “I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ, I die daily” (i.e. I suffer daily). Here are some of the proofs:
1-On the cross he beseeched God for help (Matthew 27:46): “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” And in Luke 22:42: “Saying, Father if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”(This cup is the cup of death.)
2-Jesus’ prayer not to die on the cross was accepted by God, according to Luke, Hebrews and James. Then how could he still die on the cross?(Luke 22:43): “And there appeared an angel assured unto him from heaven, strengthening him.” It means that an angel assured him that God would not leave him helpless. Sir William Muir, a renowned critic of Islam on the Quran:
"There is not a single book on earth that has remained in its pristine form as it were revealed some 12 centuries ago, (now 14 centuries) but the Koran."

Probably took time to eat, sleep, and pray. And talk to his apostles

There's no time in the realm that Jesus lives in, but I'm sure he likes to keep an eye on what's happening on earth.

He "hung" around.

He hung out with the Burning Bush.
