Is smegma under the foreskin a bad thing? ?!

Question: Is smegma under the foreskin a bad thing? ?
I'm a 14 year old boy, and i was just wondering if i should be worried about smegma thats been collecting under my foreskin

Answers:

Smegma is not the vitriol from hell the pro circumcision group would have us believe.
Smegma is a naturally produced, healthy, beneficial compound produced by the foreskin/glans combination that helps to moisturize this area.
Smegma contains (among other things) Langerin. Langerin is a powerful anti microbial compound that wards off bacteria, and keeps this area clean and disease free,....just like you are now.
So you know it is working, and the people who claim you have to force the foreskin back to clean under there are promoting a myth.
Smegma is composed of dead skin cells, urine deposits, seminal secrections and 'Smegma'. All 100% natural and 100% water soluble.
When Smegma accumulates, it can show up as white of yellowish clumps under the foreskin and around the glans. Over time, these clumps can harden and need to be soaked in water to remove them.
When smegma accumulates, it can produce a pungent odour that many find offensive. That is why some many people are misled into thinking it is a bad thing. The odour is not good,...but smegma itself is very beneficial.
Retract the foreskin in a warm bath or shower, and let the white clumps soak up some water to soften. Use a soft cloth or your fingers to brush them away. It may take several days to remove all the intitial deposits.
Never use soap. Soap removes ALL the smegma, leaving this area to dry out, irritate, and subject to odour causing bacterial infections.
Rinsing this area with water only will remove the excess (water soluble) smegma, and leave a micro thin layer of disease fighting protection to keep this area healthy.
Go to: www.norm.org and read about the reason and function of smegma and the foreskin. You will see how very fortunate you are to still have yours, and how misguided are those who promote circumcision for any reason.
Good luck with this.

Smegma is produced naturally by your body, but so is cholesterol, excrement, and other things.

If you don't wash the smegma off, with soap and water, daily, you can get an infection, and your penis will smell awfully disgusting.

When take a shower, pull your foreskin all the way back, expose your penis head, wash it and bring your foreskin forward again. If you you cannot pull back your foreskin, tell your father (or your mother)so that he can take you to the doctor, because the foreskin MUST go back for you to keep you penis clean.

Smegma keeps your penis healthy. However, you can wash it off with no ill effects.

Those who say it's unhealthy don't know what they're talking about and need to do some reading from books which were published closer to the 21st Century than the 18th!

Hi
you should be keeping yourself clean in that area, so roll back the foreskin when taking a bath and it will not hurt as much over a period of weeks it will become easier.

No Its not a bad thing in fact it is a normal thing , While in the shower pull back your fore skin and use the shower head to wash yourself

Being a man

Always clean it when you take a bath. The smell stinks and makes your penis itchy!
Just keep it clean, There is nothing to worry. It is a normal thing like wax coming from your ears or tears coming from your eyes.

Yes - smegma can begin to smell like dead fish - and your buddies will begin to shy away from you. It can also cause infection if not washed out of there daily.

It is experienced only if you are uncucumcised, better clean it

Yes, go clean that weiner. It probably smells all musky, too.

yes
