Is there something wrong with me or is this normal?!

Question: Is there something wrong with me or is this normal?
I am a 17 year old guy. Since 8th grade, I have masturbated on a fairly regular basis. While I use porn to an extent, I've also fantasized about sexual situations with girls I know, girls that I'm even friends with in some cases. I thought this was pretty standard, but recently several of my friends have made off hand remarks that make me think otherwise, but I don't wanna come right out and ask and seem like a pervert. So is what I'm doing out of the ordinary and a little perverse, or just par for the course?

Answers:

You're completely normal. Its actually a little healthier to not have to rely on porn as a sexual outlet. Fantasy can help you to understand what turns you on personally and what you might expect in a sexual relationship.

Guys joke about masturbating and sexual fantasies all the time. Few ever even admit they even masturbate, let alone what they actually masturbate to.

Umm you are 100% normal. It is perverse. But for some reason, now it's normal to be perverse... .Probably most the guys you know do the exact same thing...

Nothing wrong with you, Bubba. You're male, in puberty, maturing as time goes by - there's only a problem if YOU make it a problem.

Your friends probably don't wanna sound like pervs either. You sound like a normal teenager to me.

Stick with the porn. Fewer complications with the girls you know.

totally normal dude

manly knowledge

It's cool.
Fantasize about me.
DO IT.

You are not normal when you do a thing excessively.

That's completely normal. I do it all the time. Have fun!

dude that's f^d up man, those are your friends, get your mind out of the gutter
