Question: A question on physical exam (guys)...............?
Just wondering for annual physical check ups, when the doctor got to the checking penis part, does he usually ask you to pull down your pants, or does he do it himself? I went to see a new doctor today and he pulled it down for me... is this customary??

It is normal. Doctors work in different ways. Some ask you to take all your clothes off and put a gown on. Some ask you to pull your pants down and some will pull them down themselves. Normally this last one is to save time, but it is normal.

can be done either way.....it can be normal for the dr to pull the pants down or to let you do it....i guess its more comfortable to ask the patient to pull down their own pants

its normal either way. sometimes when the dr pull it down 4 u, u feel a bit aroused and get an erection. u need to get an erection for examining sperm tests

I've had it happen both ways. No big. They're professionals.
