How do I strip search a male prisoner with an erection?!

Question: How do I strip search a male prisoner with an erection?
I will start working as a booking and processing officer at a male juvenile detention center. My main job is to strip search and delouse 20 to 25 new male inmates each day. I feel a little uncomfortable about this and another officer who works there said that it was a "real sausage fest." Does this mean that I will actually have to make these guys even take off their underwear and stand around with their privates exposed? I heard that some of these guys react badly--a few will actually cry and many will get an involuntary erection. I hope I don't ever have to see any of these guys get hard during their strip search--that would be awkward for both of us!!!

I don't believe you actually have to touch any guys during the strip search so it should be no problem. So what if an occasional teenager bones up as you don't have to stare at it. From my understanding you just instruct them to strip and get them to show you in their mouth, behind the ears, run their hands through their hair and get them to show their private areas so you can see none of them have drugs or anything stuck behind their nuts or in between their butt cheeks. You just have to be professional about it and I am sure soon it will not make you feel uncomfortable. These teenagers will feel very vulnerable and it is up to the adults present to be professional and make sure nothing illegal or immoral happens to these underage boys as criminal proceedings would be instigated against the officers who did it. Personally I think you are the perfect sort of guy for the job as it appears as so some of the other officers actually enjoy the "sausage fest" as the guy called it. I think you are an excellent choice and will do as much as you can to make it as lees traumatic as possible for these teenagers. It's an important job that has to be done so accept it and do it professionally even if it's only to protect the boys from less professional officers who may take advantage of the power and situation..

you do have to fully strip the inmates down and in some cases u may have to do cavity searches and yes some of the guys may get an erection which will be awkward for both of you
hope this is what you really want to do and good luck

You will have great stories people in the free world wont understand! I worked a prison last semester of college, i saw a few "digital" searches and man, I have some sick stories- wouldn't go back there but money was decent! good luck and dont touch anything!

You will be trained and become desensitized to the situation, some of these kids can be dangerous, don't let the tears fool you, just do your job, don't try to be a friend.

ignore the erection and just have a clinical, analytical job of it..detatch your personal emotions from it. just treat it as a job as a doc does. g'luck

wow, that would be a great job to have..make him unload everything.

And I thought Wal-Mart greeter was a bad job!

Don't make it awkward...you're a professional. These guys have done something to land them here. This doesn't make them bad people, but they're here for a reason. They have to deal with what goes on and so do you. It's your job. So a kid gets a ***** when you strip him naked. You aren't there to have sex with him, you're there to search them. They're also not coming onto you with their hard-on, it's just a physical reaction. As you said, they're juvenile, so they don't have much control over their penises. Doctors have to deal with it all the time when sports physicals come around. You can handle it. Just remember that it's just someone's organ like their lung or something. They all have them and you will probably see them all.

Now that I've said all of that, I'll tell you that I don't know what you have to expect when it comes to whether or not they even have to take their underwear off. My guess is yes, but I could be wrong. Just remain calm and don't make a big deal out of it. It's just a penis.
