Question: I have been diagnosed with?

i have been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia will people be scared of me or treat me different if i ever get asked. i Always manged to convince my self it's just in my head so i didn't act on it before i got medicated the paranoia is extremely hard compared to the other side like the voices and random smells at certain times and seeing things. does this mean i have be alone for the rest of my life now. ?
