okay sit ups are very bad i learned the hard way in the 6 week holiday i did 1000 daily and all that really happened was that my stomach got bigger and not very define also, they f*ck your back, basically you need to do many reps of crunches, then different sorts of work outs, im 17 and have a great six pack without really doing much, but you need to be generally fit and not just work on sit ups because then you just get muscle underneath and you end up with a bellowed out stomach instead of the traditional flat six pack id say the best thing to do is this exercise.
"lay down, knees bent with soles on floor then look up at the celling, with you chin pointing the roof, try and lift your head whilst having your hands behind your head, make sure you keep your chin facing the roof. also same as before but hand on legs and push/slide them up as you come up, or knees a little more spread and slide them in between both your legs and sort of through."
key things*
chin to roof.
breath out and in when at top and bottom of cycle, do sets of 30 then have 1 minuet rest keep doing until you cant do 30, then each day interval have a rest day.
don't just do one type of exercise.
Besides sit ups, do crunches and planks. You should do at least 100 sit ups daily and you need to reduce your body fat or no one can see the six pack.
just do 800 sit ups and eat 50lbs of Raw meat a day and you will have one within 7 days.
