How can I burn fat, in addition to exercise?!

Question: How can I burn fat, in addition to exercise?
It's the age old question... how do I lose this belly-fat?

I'm an 18 year old male, about 5' 9" and 155lbs. As far as I know, I'm the correct dimensions and weight and what not so this is not a problem of being obese. I exercise daily, switching between cardio and muscle building and I would consider myself to be in the upper tier of physical health. My problem is a vain one... I've been working on a 6-pack for a while but have hit one large obstacle. I have a layer of fat covering the lower half of my abs, I can actually see the top two abdominal muscles in my "to-be" 6-pack but the lower abs are covered up by this layer of fat. I can't imagine it being more than a couple pounds of extra weight and when I pinch it together, it seems like it's only half to one inch thick.

Obviously I don't want to and wont be anorexic or bulimic to lose this extra weight... so what else can I do to lose it. I already have a decent diet of veggies, fruit, good food, and mostly water (I do eat junk but not nearly enough to affect my weight) and I do enough fat burning activities... but I can't seem to lose literally ANY weight.

I'm not sure if I should try some pills to boost my metabolism or eat nothing but salad or what... please help. Thank you.

Answers:

Watch your calorie intake, if more goes in than out, weight gain for most peeps. Try weight watcher meals...
