is this an okay workout-plan?!

Question: Is this an okay workout-plan?
so every day, 3-4 times a day. i do 40 crunches, and 50 pushups.

im 16, and im like 117lbs. im 3.5% body fat. and i almost have. i guess you could say a 4 pack haha.

i enjoy working out. its fun.

and i have a treadmill, should i be running on that also? i drink nothing but water, and get about 1230 calories a day. is this okay? could i change anything.. etc?

ive always loved being fit.. and just being in shape in general lol.

At your age you might actually want to eat a little more simply because you are trying to grow. I mean even a full 2000 calorie diet is not bad, as long as you are exercising regularly. Just make sure you eat right. That way you'll be giving your body what it needs to actually build muscle and not just burn it off.

Crunches will only work out your upper abs. You need to do full sit ups if you want a six pack. You might visit your gym at your high school for more help. And realistically you need to push your self to do as many sit ups as you can do so comfortably. In one session, try to do 50 sit ups (not crunches) and 100 push ups. When you do your push ups, go slow. Push ups are more about resistance than they are about numbers. If you do 50 push ups in a minute as fast as you can, it won't be nearly as good for you if you try to do 100 slow push ups in say 5 minutes. Each push up should take around 3 seconds, from start to finish and you should go as close as one inch to the ground.

That's just the work out part. You said you have a treadmill, you should walk/run around two miles a day on that.

Of course, only push yourself as far as you feel comfortable doing. If you can only do half of what I am talking about at one time, portion it out and work your way up by the week. For example, say you can only do 25 push ups at a time. That is fine. For one week do 25 push ups at a time, four times a day and increase the limit by ten each week. Same idea with sit ups and running. But overall fitness is not just about working out, its also about quality cardio exercise: That means run, swim, box what ever fits your fancy. And no your height does not matter.

I see. u r doing everything right, that I see. just don't over do it.

I wish u luck. and continue your health needs.
