Question: What does he mean by the sex was intense?

I was having sex with my friends with benefits last night, and this morning when we were getting up he made a comment about the sex being intense the night before. What exactly is intense sex? I wish that I would have asked him at the time, but I was just shocked. I remember that it was better than usual for me, but I don't remember details since I had a couple glasses of wine beforehand. I'm assuming intense would be a good thing?
