My boyfriend has severe health condition..i'm torn!. need help.!!!?!

Question: My boyfriend has severe health condition..i'm torn!. need help.!!!?
i just brought him to the hospital this evening. he has been having really bad chest pain the whole day yesterday worsened by his asthma. the doctor said he might be having cardiomyapothy since his records show symptoms of this. still, the doctor isn't sure and needs to do more tests on him. i don't know what to do. he wasn't able to attend in the contest he should have been joining today and this really depressed him now. i don't know how to comfort him. plus, i know anxiety could just worsen his heart condition. and i've heard that patients with such heart conditions are likely to be needing heart transplant in few years from now. i'm really torn! please help. i mean, anyone who could tell me how to deal with this? i don't even think it's true. my boyfriend is a health conscious 19 year-old guy! could it be possible to have such serious heart problem in that young age? he's in the icu now. i asked the doctor to just spare this day for him since the contest means so much to him. but when i rushed him to the hospital and the doctor said he needs to be given immediate medical help. i don't know how to tell his parents about this as he is just boarding here in our city. i can't believe this is happening to him!

any comforting advice?
=(

My heart goes out to you, Chen. Unfortunately, if he has a history, they need to take special care. The best thing you can do is to stay by his side. Your caring will ease his anxiety. Joke with him. Try to make him laugh. Make him as comfortable as you can. He needs your support to keep his spirits up. For you, you might want some mutual friends there to ease your burden and lift his spirits. I'm mixed on calling the parents. Until you have a diagnosis, why worry them? Do what you can, Chen, and know that we're praying for you and your guy!

If you don't already know how - learn to Pray!
Your being upset & stressed out won't help him get better.
He's in the best hands to get the help that's needed.
You just have to wait & see what all develops.
Life is not always the way it's supposed to be. It's just the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.

Really there's nothing you can do. Pray it's just a false alarm — and by that I mean pray. And be supportive.

You never know. It could just be the jalapenos.

i'm sorry to hear that.but i think u just listen to the direction of the doctor.i think they are the profession.u can trust them.

HI. YOU HAVE TO BE CALM FOR YOUR BOYFRIEND EVEN IF SEEMS VERY HARD TO DO. TRY AND BE MORE OF HIS SUPPORT SYSTEM THEN ANYTHING ELSE. CONTACT HIS FAMILY ASAP OR THEY MAY HAVE LOTS OF HARSH THINGS TO SAY TO YOU WHEN THEY SEE YOU. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY. ILL PRAY TOO! HE IS TOUGH AND WILL PULL THROUGH. I PRAY YOU GUYS ARE OK. PATRICE
