I have never seen the head of my penis and I'm worried?!

Question: I have never seen the head of my penis and I'm worried?
i am 19 years old and i have never seen the head of my penis. every time i get an erection my foreskin never retracts, and even when it isn't erect i cant pull my foreskin behind the head of my penis, and if i do try it starts to hurt. the farthest my foreskin can be pulled back is to the point where i can only visibly see the pee-hole and any farther involves pain. i have never thought about this before but i've been reading a lot about it and it looks like i have phimosis but i still have no clue. so the question im asking is if i should get it checked out by a doctor or what is the right stretching exercise i should do? im really concerned now and would really appreciate the help and insight on this

Wazir gave the best answer so far, but I am going to expand on what he said.
If you can retract enough to see the urethral opening, then you do not have Phimosis. True clinical Phimosis is very rare.
You have a naturally tight foreskin, just like every other intact (not circumcised) man on the planet had at your age.
Over 85% of the males on earth are intact so you are on the winning side. Let's keep you there because the other 15% wish they still were intact. Foreskin envy is very prominent amoung circumcised men.
If you want to retract the foreskin, follow the information in the links below and work the stretches into the daily shower routine. Let the warm water loosen and relax the skin before stretching.
Stretches are to be firm, but gentle, with no pain. Pain is a damage indicator.
Over stretching till it hurts can create micro tears in the skin opening that will heal over with non elastic scar tissue, making retraction more difficult. No pain,....ever!
What wil happen is the Frenar Band (google it) of muscle that closes down the skin opening will relax and expand enough to allow the foreskin to glide effortlessly back and forth over the coronal ridge of the glans.
You will begin to see some good results in two weeks, with full and painless retraction in 3-4 month.
If it takes longer, just keep stretching.
Alternatively, you can ask your doctor for steroid cream (Betamethasone) made to help loosen a tight foreskin. You have to do these stretches in conjunction with cream use, so why not just try the stretches first? Do not let the doctor even breathe the word: circumcision. Be very firm and tell them it is not an option. Find a new doctor if need be,....one who will treat the problem without taking a knife to your penis.
Do not listen to anyone who claims you need to force the foreskin back to clean under there. Nature has this well in hand. The foreskin/glans combination produce a powerful anti microbial compound called Langerin. Langerin wards off bacteria and keeps this area clean and disease free, just like you are now. So you know it is working.
Many men are deciding to go through their entire, happy, healthy, sexually active lives without ever retracting their foreskin. It is not uncommon so only do the stretches if you decide you want to retract.
There are some stretches not mentioned in the links. Pinch off the end of the foreskin while urinating outside or in the shower (this is messy.) Allow the urine to balloon out the foreskin. This has many benefits,....it lifts the entire foreskin off the glans, and gives it a good, overall stretch, as well as it provides a natural, cleansing flush under the foreskin. Hold each stretche for 30 seconds if you can. The pressure will be considerable.
The other stretch is to stick the little finger of each hand inside the skin opening and gently tug outward to expand the skin opening. Tug sideways and up and down.
Go to: www.norm.org and read about the reason and function of the foreskin. You will see how very fortunate you are to still have yours, and how misguided are those who promote circumcision through ignorance or to validate their own sorry state.
Hope this helped

u need to see a doctor as others mentioned it maybe a sore inside the fold, there could be some medications that can be taken to help the pain and then continue to manually stretch the foreskin, do NOT allow the doctor to talk you into a circumcision. that is the lazy way to "cure it" and then the foreskin wouldn't have been cured but cut off OUCH !!!

Sounds like phimosis, you just need to loosen your tight foreskin:

When you have foreskin your supposed to clean it out daily. It probably got soar an needs some doctor help.

Either ur a virgin or you have to go and see a doctor.

WHY DON'T YOU HAVE ME TAKE A LOOK AT THAT. ;)

Sounds more like long foreskin and or tight frenar band
rather than phimosis which is actually quite rare.

You could go to doctor and ask him to prescribe
Betamethasone Ointment 0.05% and try to loosen frenar band
you can also relax it by pulling it away from you each time you
finish pee-ing.

It is not necessary to clean underneath foreskin as it is clean in there.
Retracting it is matter of fashion
It helps in sex if it is mobile
but doesn't HAVE to go right back.

Have a look at link below =
