How do i make myself strong?!


Question: How do i make myself strong?
I want to make my bones strong, i am doing cardio for very long but it feels that it is getting weaker.

Hi Ali,

Your body adapts to the demands you place upon it, so if you want to 'make yourself strong' you need to carry out activities that would be easier for you to do if you were 'stronger'.

'Cardio' type activities will do this to a point, however I think your probably looking to build some good looking muscle too right? What I recommended is a combination of 'move your body through space' exercises, and 'move stuff around your body' type exercises.

Move your body through space type exercises include things such as body weight squats, lunges, push ups, dips and chin ups. Move stuff around your body type exercises include dead-lifts and shoulder presses.

It's what I do.



Working out does not add to skeletal strength, but supplying your body with the proper nutrients will.
Exercise will make the tissues connected to your bones stronger and healthier, and proper nutrients will make the bones stronger.
So... eat well and exercise, maybe take a supplement that contributes to skeletal health, like calcium for example.



Slow and heavy weight lifting...will make your bones stronger!
These people are a bit like cave people...lol They can't think outside the box.
When you work out, its not just nutrients and muscles...it's everything.
The slower you do weights, the stronger you will get.
If you just do cardio you'll be fit and fast, but you won't be THAT strong...



You eat balanced diet and for making bones more strong use food which contain more calcium.



Its called a GYM



you must drink a lot of green tea



if watching tv has taught me anything, drink alot of milk
