Question: If puberty starts early does it finish early too?help?
hey everyone, ok,, so i am 15 years old male and its seems that i started puberty at very young age. since 12/13 i already hit my growth spurt ,broke my voice and had zits all over my face, now i am 15 and i have quite a lot of facial hair which most of my classmates don't have.so i would like to know from your guys experience or whatever ,, If i started puberty at young age (12 years old) does it mean i will finish very early too? if yes than till what age? . i dont really want my puberty to finish early because i still want to grow taller, so will i grow taller too? but anyways please answer me truly and with no jokes, i would really appreciate if you d answer me:)

Answers:

12-13 is not early to be starting puberty, that's normal. Yes when some men start earlier they finnish earlier.

Also just because you are getting facial hair before other boys doesn't mean you are ahead of them. Different developments happen at different times for people. I started pubtery just before turning 11. I am 20 now and STILL do not have fully developed facial hair. Don't confuse going through different things and different times with being ahead of the average male.

Most males finnish puberty around 21. Since you started at the normal age I suspect you will finnish at the normal age.

no, sorry! puberty is different lengths for everyone. for example, my sister started in 7th grade and is still growing now, 3 years later. our friend hit puberty in 9th grade and is pretty much done a year later

I think general wisdom is it takes around 5 years for all changes to occur. I started puberty at 11 (well thats when I started ejaculating) but have no idea when I stopped gaining height...probably around 17. Your best guide to how tall you might be is to have a look at other guys in your family (father, brothers, uncles, etc.) and see if there's an average but even that's not a certainty since lots of other genetic factors come into play. The bottom line is there's not much you can do about height and body part size (other than staying in shape of course) so try not to worry about the things you can't change.
