Question: Does masturbation effect puberty?

if you masturbate before puberty does it effect how you go through puberty or even if you do go through puberty. so if you masturbate once every 24 hours does that effect anything? please be honest. thank ya. oh and im a 13 yr old male

Evidence is that it won't effect puberty substantively - although there is negative inference from a study. They studied men who had stopped masturbating for various reasons - and were able to prove that over time, the mens' penises shrank somewhat. That logically means that if you masturbate regularly, your penis will end up being larger than it would be if you did not. So, among the good things that masturbation does for you (there are quite a few) is the probability that your penis will be a bit bigger than it would be if you didn't masturbate.

Not at all. Puberty is controlled by hormones and is on a set biological schedule. It isn't affected by sexual activity, etc. It won't do any harm.

the word is 'affect' not 'effect' and No it does not...if it did then lot's of men and women will still be girls and boys
