How can I loosen my muscles up if they are really sore from a workout?!


Question: How can I loosen my muscles up if they are really sore from a workout?
I had a really tough work out on friday for upper body and my biceps are still sore on sunday. The problem is that I have a golf match on monday, but I need to figure out how to get them more loose? Thanks.

Answers:

In a hot shower, as hot as you can stand it soak your muscles and then gently slowly stretch those muscles. They will feel better.



After I have a nice hard workout, I am sore for a few days. I find the best way to end the soreness is to work out again. It seems to be an odd remedy but it works incredibly well for me. Workout your upper body again today and you should be way less sore tomorrow.
