How likely is my chance to fail?!

Question:

How likely is my chance to fail?

I have been a pizza delivery driver in my town for a few years, and unfortunatly we have allot of pot smokers. I have been exposed to the smoke from these idiots during the time I worked there. I am now looking at a chance at getting my foot in the door to being a Corrections officer but I am worried about the test, and the chances that I might test positive. Though I tried not to breathe the smoke, its impossible hold your breath for the entire time for them to fish out enough money to pay you, so I would like to know what I can do to maby help my chances because I want out of the fast food buisness since it has gotten me nowhere in the past 3 years. I have not yet asked what test they use, but I'm sure its a hair follicle test with a urine test follow-up.

Answers:

Well, if you inhale the smoke, there is a small chance that you might have the THC in your system. However, drink a lot of water, cranberry juice might help - if it's a urine test. Also, check out some other drinks that might be helpful. For urine, THC will stay in your system for about 30 days, longer if you are a regular smoker. But since you say you don't smoke it, you're probably ok. Hair follicles can detect THC from a year ago. So, if you ever did smoke weed within this year and take a hair follicle test, you will probably fail depending on how much you smoked, but I have yet to hear about hair follicle tests being administered since they are so expensive. And police departments may not have the funds to shell out on such an expensive test. Now, if it was for the FBI or something, that is probably a different story. Hope I helped! Good luck! and Good job getting out of there.
