What would happen if a guy got an erection and it didnt go away for like a long time?

just wondering. i saw it on grey's anatomy some guy had like and everlasting erection. lmao.

I saw that episode too!! lol
Well I have seen commercials about Viagra and such and they say to contact the doctor if the erection lasts for more than four hours. So I guess the guy might really have to go to see a doctor if that happens.
