Some really do, don't they? I've been wondering this myself--for years! :-)
However, there are some 'womens' who do the same thing after the guys...I've wondered about them too! ;-)
Some call it nature, some call it instinct. However, in my mind there's a big difference between 1) normal attraction and respectful dating and 2) chasing after a person of the opposite sex like they were the last person of their sex out there.
In our family we call it being "twitterpaited". Twitterpaited people get so caught up in emotions they just can't help themselves. It's always reminded me of a puppy who sees something that makes him so excited that he starts wriggling all over. While still shaking in excitement, he begins running towards it...only to trip over his own huge puppy paws, and fall flat on his cute little puppy face. Hmmm... Maybe we should start calling it puppypaited? Dawgypaited? Any suggestions? ;-)
