I want to take something that will give me a boost when i lift but not put on weight.?

I"ve been working out for the past few months. I'm losing weight but as far as lifting goes i've hit a wall. I want to take something that will help me lift more but not put on weight. whats the best thing out there for this?


Answers:

Do a good warmup. Oxygenates your heart and gets it ready for the subsequent work. You'll pump more blood, and lift more. Do a few preparatory breathes to load up oxygen to distribute, then do each set, and DO NOT hold your breath. Breath out each rep lift, breathe in while lowering the wt. Lower more slowly.

I was stuck at 15 lbs on alternate dumbbell crossovers, then jumped to 25 lbs in two weeks. Usually a 60% increase takes longer.
