He doesnt tell my kids this, I dont have small kids. She has just heard him tell other kids in the neighborhood this. But I agree.......... he does need to watch his mouth. Especially around young women and little kids.

Answers:

When we're just going into puberty, our scrotums are really tight and drawn up closely to the shaft of the penis. As we get further along in the process, the scrotum relaxes and the testicles "drop" down into the now free-swinging sac... It's actually the way the body regulates the temperature of the testes. Sperm don't handle high temps too well, so the low-hanging ball-sac is Nature's way of keeping our little swimmers at the right temp.

The "drop" is also commensurate with lots of other hormonal changes that turn perfectly nice little boys into raving sex maniacs. It often is one of the signals that a boy can now reach ejaculation. Better have the condom chat with your daughter if you haven't yet... I can actually hear her boyfriend's thoughts telepathically all the way from Minnesota...

It also teaches us caution, since they become a lot more prone to getting knocked around and tangled up in our undies at that point. Frankly, I could have lived without that particular aspect of puberty...
