I keep getting a tear in my penis when I have sex, is there an operation apart from circumcision?

I completely tore my frenulum when I was 16 and I let it heal so I no longer have a frenulum , I am 26 now and it has never caused me any probs til 5 months ago I got a tear at the top where teh frenulum is meant to connect, now every time I have sex it tears even after I have let it heal for a month at a time, the doc says the only thing to do is circumcise me but i really dont want to do this, is this really the only thing?

My best advice is to take the advise of your doctor. This kind of problem is an open window for infection, unless there is a personal reason you cant get rid of your foreskin. In that case see another specialist for other options
