how long does it take trichomonas to clear after being treated for it...or should i say how long should one wait before having sexual contact again............and the same question for syphillis

Anyway, with trichomoniasis the treatment is usually 7 days, but the rule is that you must have finished all your treatment and have no symptoms, nor should your partner (partner needs to get looked at too even without symptoms). Only then should you have sexual contact.
Syphallis the treatment varies on how severe it is, and that's a big decider. Some are one-time doses of penicillin, others you take pills for 7-14 days, and that's for early caught disease. How long to wait before having sex again will depend on the case, so the treating doc is the only person that should tell you how long to wait.
One more thing before anyone gets any funny ideas: Oral sex can transmit both of these diseases too!
