One time I caught my son masturbating in his room, and he was really embarrassed about it. So one day I sat him down and had a man-to-man talk to him about masturbation and sex. He has no mother figure in his life, b/c she left when he was a baby. I am pretty young myself, not even being 30, so since were both guys, I lend him my "dirty" magazines to get off to. I told him in the conversation that he can masturbate whenever he pleases as long as he's alone in his room. I promised him I wouldn't judge him, and I even gave him old towels to clean himself up in. Was this bad for me to do? Afterall, he's a growing teenage boy, and all boys will masturbate and look at porn at some point in their lives. I'm glad my son and I are open about the topic together. I told him about when I used to masturbate to make him feel less uncomfortable. I don't think this was wrong of me but other people might. help?

it's very right of you to do that because teens right now if you dont let they do something they would do what ever you dont want them to do, like porn they will have to look at it anyways so i dont see why not
