Why do overweight males have a problem walking around without a shirt on?
Aside from having very poor personal hygiene, my roommate is overweight and never walks around without a shirt on. I do frequently as to save money on the costs to cool the house during the summer whereas he would rather sit in his room with the window mounted AC on full blast in pants and a long sleeved shirt. I am wondering because i am of a healthy weight. Why doesnt he feel comfortable without a shirt on? I ask him but all he says is f**k you.

As a big guy, I can answer this. He is probably ashamed or self conscious. Don't give him a hard time because the shirt is not coming off. The only person to see me without a shirt on in the past two years are a few doctors and nurses.
