When doing pushups or situps....?!


Question:

When doing pushups or situps....?

Does it matter if you do all of them at once, or spread them through out the day? Say if i do 75 situps at a time, would it have the same effect of doing a "half now half later" type of deal?


Answers:

Ideally, you'd do 3 to 5 sets of each exercise.
After 5 sets, you get diminished return on your effort.
I personally do 3 sets of 30 pushups, 3 sets of 10-12 pullups like this:

Do 30 pushups
Do 10 pullups
Take 5 minutes break

Do 30 pushups
Do 10 pullups
Take 5 minutes break

Do 30 pushups
Do 10 pullups
Take 5 minutes break
