and spend less time for other valuable things for life (

It would be hard to convince others to change their priorities in life. What matters most to some may mean little to others. He wants to invest in his health.
Plus, tell that to him and he might body-slam you. Ha Ha.
Plus, you are also being too critical of others. Spend less time criticizing others and do those 'valuable things' instead. You then might not notice them.
